Amazon Flex App Android Installation and Troubleshooting
How do I download the Android version of the app?
- Open your Android phone
- Go to this post for instructions on how to get the Amazon Flex App for Android
- Click the link once you get the email.
- Check your app folder once download is 100% complete for the app called “Delivery” (It is an orange icon with the Amazon “a” in the middle.)
What are the minimum phone requirements?
- Android 4.4 or higher
- RAM Memory 2GB or higher
- Camera with flash
- GPS Location Services
- SIM card
I’m having problems downloading the App.
If you are using Google Chrome and are experiencing issues, please use a different Internet browser—downloading and using Firefox tends to work well!
Please make sure you are using the web address bar in your Android phone — not a search engine
I can’t find the app, but I know it downloaded.
- Go to Google Play store
- Search for the app File Manager
- Download the first one on the list (File Manager for Androids). Should be free, by ZenUI, ASUS computer Inc.
- Open the File Manager app
- Search for “signed” or “delivery” and open from there
My app is freezing/not opening/running slow.
Have you tried logging out and logging back into the app? We have noticed that this solves the most common issues.

I downloaded the App, but am receiving an error message:
“Install blocked”
- Navigate to the “Settings” for your phone
- In the “Security” section, look for an option to allow unknown sources
- Ensure that this option is enabled
“Technical Error (Error Code 224)”
- Make sure the language on your phone is in English- US
- Ensure that your phone is compatible with the Amazon Flex app
- If you have an app that changes the lighting on your phone based on the time of day, try disabling or uninstalling it. I.e. “Twilight” or “Blue Light Filter”
“Turn on Location Settings”
- If your location settings are off, turn them on.
- If your location settings are on, turn the function off and then back on… Try again!
“Problem Parsing the Packaging”
- Your Android version may not be high enough. Please check that your Android version is 4.4 or higher.
“Open with package installer”
- Go ahead and open with package installer to install the Amazon Flex app.

I don’t remember my password.
- Go to Amazon.com on your computer and use the “forgot password” feature
- Please be sure that there are no typos in the e-mail or password that you are typing in to the app
How do I uninstall the Amazon Flex app?
- Go to your device’s Settings menu > Apps or Application manager (this may differ depending on your device).
- Touch the app you’d like to uninstall
- Touch Uninstall
If you don’t see the Uninstall button or you only see the option to “Uninstall updates”, use the following steps:
- Go to your device’s Settings menu > Security > Device Administrator > deselect the Amazon application
- Go back to the Settings menu > Apps or Application manager (this may differ depending on your device)
- Touch the app you’d like to uninstall
- Touch Uninstall
