How to Download the DoorDash Dasher App
As part of the long DoorDash Dasher onboarding process, you get a link to the DoorDash dasher app for delivery partners (couriers) at the very end of the Doordash orientation Session. This is very different from the DoorDash customer app, which you can get on the Android Play Store or iOS App Store. This is AFTER the Doordash orientation session, which makes no sense to me because they are going through the DoorDash Dasher App during the Doordash orientation session and it would be nice to get the DoorDash dasher app to explore during the Doordash orientation session.
This is the workflow of the DoorDash Orientation Session:
- Sign up for Doordash Dasher and complete the 6-step application (note, you may get an additional email to verify length of driving history. I got a new license so had to upload my old drivers license to prove length of driving history. Pretty typical.)
- On DocuSign, review and sign the Doordash driver Delivery Rates information, W-4 and DoorDash Driver Partner Agreement
- Attend Online DoorDash Orientation Session
- Receive Welcome Email with Link to Download the DoorDash Driver App

Before you download the DoorDash Dasher App, you need to sign up to be a DoorDash dasher delivery driver. To start your application, you can use this link to start signing up for Doordash Dasher:

- Tap the URL link above.
- Enter in your email to get the app sent you. Find the confirmation email and confirm your request for the Doordash Driver app.
- Follow the instructions in the email to get the DoorDash Dasher app.
- Go to the home screen
- Tap Settings > General > Device Management
- Tap Palo Alto Delivery Inc.
- Tap Trust “Palo Alto Delivery Inc.”
- Tap Trust
- Go to the home screen and look for the Dasher app–you’re all set to dash!
