Free PDF: How Insurance Works in a Lyft Or Uber Accident
Yesterday, I sent out a quick survey to my email subscribers about what was their top two questions they had about Lyft and Uber and was a bit overwhelmed by the responses I got. I sifted through some of it early last night and addressed the number one question today about Lyft and Uber: Insurance.
It was no shock really. The conversation really got started when there was a very bad accident over Halloween weekend:
On Halloween week, a tragic accident occurred to a Lyft Driver and his two passengers. Unfortunately, one of his passengers did not survive the crash. You can read more about it here.
Ever since, there have been a ton of questions about how the coverage works and when drivers are covered.
To answer a number of questions, I put it into an easy to read 150 page PDF explaining Lyft and Uber Insurance. You’ll be impressed that I managed to condense it down to 8 pages with the magic of fonts and borders. (In all seriousness, its 8 pages with a few graphics from Lyft and Uber.)
This is what the FREE PDF covers:
- How Lyft Insurance Works
- How Uber Insurance Works
- What happens when you are at fault or not at fault for the accident
- Implications of Lyft and Uber on your Auto Insurance, Car Loans, and Car Leases
- Medical Coverage of the Driver
