Uber Adds Navigation and Destination into App
Uber has finally implemented the navigation feature to drive to the pickup and then to the passenger destination.
For the longest time, there was a space that says dropoff was “as directed.” I always wondered when they would be implementing passenger destination. They implemented it a few weeks ago when they also released the navigation into the Uber Driver app so now passengers can type in their destination and no longer need to explain to the driver where they are going.
Now these two features will make it much easier for the driver to drive to the pickup and then to the destination. This will make rides more efficient. Lyft had navigation for a few months now and also passenger destinations for three months. I am not sure why Uber was so far behind Lyft on this feature.
