Lyft Minimum Driver Age Now 21 and Commercial Plates
Lyft minimum driver age is now 21. It used to be 23 but with lowering the minimum driver age, this will greatly expand the number of drivers as there are many young people that may be looking to work part time.
Lyft has also began to accept commercial and livery plates. Before, Lyft was not allowing any driver to have commercial plates of any kind. Now they are allowing commercial and livery plates. There are some great drivers who have commercial plates so this is a great opportunity to increase the number of quality drivers!
Below is the snippet of the email I got:
Mentor Updates |
Commercial Plates |
We’ve changed our policy on commercial plates: Mentees that have them can now be approved. |
21 and Over |
The new minimum age for drivers is now 21. Alert your college-age siblings that it’s time for them to hop behind the wheel and make some green. |
